Community Housing - Housing for Women in Need

Our Vision & Purpose

At Pyramid Properties, we believe that housing is more than a roof — it is a foundation for dignity, safety and the possibility to rebuild. We are committed to making a difference. Through this “Community Housing” program, we offer our vacant properties in Toronto as opportunities for shelters, women’s charities, or government‑supported initiatives to create safe, supportive housing for women who are homeless, fleeing domestic violence, or otherwise facing housing insecurity.

We understand that women experiencing homelessness often face multiple, intersecting challenges which include, but are not limited to, trauma, poverty, lack of stable income, mental‑health or addiction issues, or violence. Without safe and stable housing, it is all too easy for them to slip through the cracks.

Our goal is to help fill that gap. By working with trusted service providers and shelters, we want to offer not just bricks and mortar, but real hope; a place where safety, support, and dignity come first.

Why This Matters in Toronto

Why Partnering with Charities and Women’s Organizations Is Essential

Organizations like Street Haven at the Crossroads offer emergency shelter, supportive housing, addiction and mental‑health services, life‑skills training and more. By offering our vacant properties, Pyramid Properties hopes to support these organizations in expanding their capacity.
